By Car The clubhouse is located on Embassy Row, two blocks northwest of the DuPont Circle Metro Station, between the intersection of Massachusetts and Florida Avenues. R Street, which is immediately north of the clubhouse is one-way street running west. Although 22nd Street is a two-way street, it may not be accessed from the intersection of Massachusetts and Florida Avenues. To access the clubhouse by car/taxi, take Florida Avenue north to R Street. Turn left onto R Street and proceed one block to 22nd Street. Turn left on 22Street. The clubhouse will be on your left just past the Colombian Embassy.

By Metro The ANWC Metro stop is DuPont Circle on the Red line. Using the north exit underground ("Q" Street) go left (west) on Q Street two blocks to Massachusetts Avenue. In the second block on your right, you will pass the Phillips Gallery, then the Embassy of India and the Cosmos Club as you round the corner onto Massachusetts Avenue. At the light, Massachusetts and Florida Avenue and 22nd Street all come together. Cross Florida Avenue to the traffic island between Florida Avenue and 22nd Street. Turn right on 22Street. The clubhouse is the third building on the right - a brick and stone townhouse with double doors and a brass plaque that says: American News Women's Club
